Derbyshire Network Cluster


Rules:


Interest groups

Members of one Cluster U3A are able to join an Interest group in another Cluster U3A.    

This is limited to a maximum of three interest groups per member.

Cluster members pay no extra fee, but are, of course, be liable for their share of the running costs of the group.

Members must carry their current home U3A membership card with them.

‘Visitors’ must abide by any rules or stipulations of the ‘receiving’ U3A.

Group Leaders may decide, for whatever reason, that they do not want cluster members in their group.

It is up to individual members to make contact with the Group leader and to find out arrangements.

Associate Membership   Associate Membership fees are payable only if cluster members  want to join more than three Interest Groups in another  U3A or to regularly attend another U3A’s monthly Open meetings.

The following U3As have decided to join the Derbyshire ‘Network Cluster’, so-called:


ALFRETON; ASHBOURNE & DISTRICT; BAKEWELL, BELPER, DERBY; HOPE VALLEY; ILKESTON ;

LONG EATON & DISTRICT; NEW MILLS; RIPLEY & DISTRICT.


Cluster U3As Interest Groups are marked in yellow

on the Interest group lists.



Any other Derbyshire U3As who want to join the Network Cluster will be welcome, and should contact the Secretary  at    secretary @dnu3a.org.uk

Tuesday 17th July 2018

Bring your own food, drinks*, weather gear, something to sit on, etc

*but there is also a tea-room there

Parking and entrance to the grounds and hall are free to National Trust

members. There will be a charge for non-members ( car-sharing would

be a good idea ).

Meet everyone at the house entrance end of the  car park by 11.30 am.

We shall then walk through the grounds to find our picnic spot.

There is nowhere to shelter from rain so please come prepared.

If really wet, we can always go in the tea-room ( but not eat our

sandwiches there )  

After lunch, members  may want to explore the beautiful and extensive

grounds.
